    All about the Melbourne to Adelaide including the Great Ocean Road & Kangaroo Island.

    To begin your tour you will visit two famous Melbourne Universities and see what future study options they have to offer.  The tour will include several world famous sites and attractions including the wonders of the Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo Island. You will explore the city, hills, beaches and pristine natural environments of Victoria and South Australia.

    Apart from the world famous sites, you will get to participate in several outdoor adventure activities and environmental education. Environmental sustainability as well as Indigenous history is a significant component of the tour and you will be actively involved in your learning of these subjects.

    Nature based education is extremely important within Australia and you will be physically involved in helping with the sustainability of the natural environment.  Several of the skills that you will learn throughout the tour will be able to be taken with you back home to China.

    The majority of the program will be conducted in English which will allow you to practice your speaking skills to further improve your linguistic abilities.

    Each night our guides will conduct a debrief with the participants to discuss the days activities in order to make your tour as enjoyable as possible.

    1. Day 1 Arrival and University Tour

      Arrive in Melbourne – travel to accommodation followed by a guided tour of a top Melbourne university

    2. Day 2 Open Range Zoo & Great Ocean Road

      Visit an open range zoo for a safari experience before departing Melbourne & then enjoy the famous sights along the Great Ocean Road

    3. Day 3 Great Ocean Road to Naracoorte Caves

      Continue along the Great Ocean Road to the unique Blue Lake and the heritage listed Naracoorte Caves

    4. Day 4 Caves Tour then Adelaide

      Spend the morning enjoying an educational caves tour before continuing the drive to Adelaide

    5. Day 5 Adelaide Education

      Spend a morning learning English at an Adelaide School followed by an afternoon of environmental education

    6. Day 6 Indigenous History and Tent Camping

      Visit a local university in the morning before learning about Indigenous Australian History at a city cultural centre. In the afternoon you will head to the Adelaide Hills for a night of tent camping and activities

    7. Day 7 Adventure Activities

      A day of exciting activities in the Adelaide Hills including Climbing, a Zip-Line and Giant Swing

    8. Day 8 Kangaroo Island Tours

      Travel to Cape Jervis and take the morning ferry over to Kangaroo Island. A full day of tours including Island Pure Sheep Dairy, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and Clifford’s Honey Farm before settling into the farm stay accommodation

    9. Day 9 Interactive Activities

      Start the morning by visiting the large sand dunes at Little Sahara where you can try sand-boarding. You will then get up close and hands on with Birds of Prey at Raptor Domain followed by the afternoon spent at one of the best world’s top beaches on the island, Vivonne Bay.

    10. Day 10 Sites and Beach Day

      Begin your day by visiting the sites of the Flinders Chase National Park

      including Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch before spending time at one of the best northern beaches on the island, Stokes Bay. From here you will head back to Penneshaw to catch the ferry back to the mainland

    Throughout the journey you will be staying in a variety of accommodation types which include hotels, dormitories and youth hostels. The accommodations will vary from twin share to group rooms with individual and shared bathrooms.
